The terms herein define and establish the conditions under which satellites images are provided to requestors by FUNCATE. The acceptance of an order is subject to the requestor's agreement to these conditions, expressed by his signature at the bottom of the order form. FUNCATE will not accept requests which are incomplete, illegible, inconsistent or specify images not present in its inventories at order receipt.

Delivery times

The estimated time for delivery will be communicated to the requestor upon acceptance of the order. This time is not a firm commitment and unexpected delays will not grant the requestor the right to cancel or change the order, nor to claim any indemnification from FUNCATE.

Product quality

Any product presenting defects caused by its generation or processing by FUNCATE, will be replaced free of charge. The defective product must be first returned to FUNCATE for evaluation. Such return must be made within 60 days of the shipment of the product by FUNCATE. The time for replacement will be communicated to the requestor upon acceptance of the return. FUNCATE can not be held responsible for problems inherent to the raw satellite data which can not be corrected by data processing.

Prices

The price charged for any product will be the one valid at order acceptance, according to FUNCATE's Price List, which is revised and republished periodically.

Shipment

All products will be properly packed and delivered via ar mail at no extra cost to the requestor. FUNCATE, however, is not responsible for any damage or loss in the mail.

Copyrights

Partial or full reproduction of delivered products is not authorized except for publication purposes and with the appropriate mention to FUNCATE as the source of the imagery. The requestor must not sell or contribute the product to a third party, neither permanently nor temporarily.

Support - our technical staff can assist you to use the images adequately. They can help you to choose the bands, to use the digital data by your favorite software, to extract the information you want, and so on.
